Track & Field Meets are generally held on Saturdays from March - May.
In 2019, our meet schedule includes:
Regular Season Meets (Sa, March 16 - Sa, April 27): 7 meets including the Co-Conference Invitational.
The "Conference Finals" (Sa, May 4)
The "Conference Championships" (Sa, May 11)
The "Co-Conference Championships" (Sa, May 18)

Parents, mark your calendar and save these dates! Our 2019 home meets are on Saturday March 16, 23, and April 6.
Parents are required to volunteer for at least 1 shift at each of our Home meets. Go to Volunteer to learn more about our Parent Volunteer Requirement.
Athletes must arrive to the meet no later than 8:00 a.m. and check-in with their Coach.
Meets typically start at 8:30 a.m. with the 3200 m run and all Field events.
There is not a scheduled start time for other events. A new event begins after all the heats or flights of the event currently on the Track have been completed by all age groups. Go to Order of Events.
Meets generally end after 1:00 p.m. (after completion of the 1600 m Relays).
Athletes must arrive to the meet in uniform, socks, and applied sunscreen.
Athletes must also bring proper running shoes and any other gear (as directed by their coach), along with water and nutritious snacks.

The Ojai Roadrunners are members of the Ventura County Youth Track Conference (VCYTC). During the season, the Roadrunners compete against member clubs of the VCYTC.
The Roadrunners also compete against member club's of the Southern California Youth Track Conference (SCYTC), the sister league of the VCYTC.

During a meet, athletes compete in the following Track (Running) & Field events:
Track (Sprints): 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, Hurdles (80 m, 100 m) and Relays (400 m and 1600 m).
Track (Middle / Distance): 800 m, 1600 m, 3200 m.
Field: High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put.
